Multi-City Japan Trip

“This was my first trip abroad, and needless to say I was more than a little nervous. Jessica was able to completely alleviate those fears. She not only was able to find me comfortable and convenient Air BnBs to stay in, with consistently excellent food nearby, but also provide amazing recommendations for neighborhoods to explore. It was the perfect mix of planning and spontaneity, where I felt taken care of, but free to explore Japan as I had always wanted.”

- Zach

I am so thankful to my friend Zach who trusted me to plan a portion of this trip for him, because TRULY living vicariously through these photos gave me so much life. When Zach asked for my help in the planning process, he and a few friends had already established flight details and the cities they wanted to explore, so I made them a big map list of must sees, must dos, and must eats to pick and choose from throughout their adventure.

He regaled the stories of his travels to me after their return, and mentioned that seeing all of the temples, shrines, castles, and historical sites was the highlight of their trip. A vacation to Japan would be incomplete without immersing yourself in the cultural marvels of its cities. There are so many incredible restaurants on every street corner, so anywhere you decide to land for a quick bite or a full Japanese meal experience even beyond this list I made, you will not be disappointed! Even 7-11 in Japan is worth a quick pit stop. Zach mentioned that there was some challenge with the language barrier and that they used Google Translate quite frequently, especially in less touristy neighborhoods or more hole in the wall restaurants. Beer was cheap, food was simple and delicious, and the overall experience seems like one I’d like to have myself someday!
